Calacatta Extra by Atlas Plan is characterized by a compact, luminous white ground, with striking gray veining and gold reflections. A marble effect that goes perfectly with both classic and modern interiors, also making it easy to pair with any other materials and effects. The white colour and subtle veining give the porcelain stoneware slab an elegant, refined character. The 162×324 cm size and 6 mm thickness also allow seamless use across cabinet and drawer fronts, for a visually uniform result.

Ordinary cleaning

For the ordinary cleaning of Atlas Plan slabs, it is advisable to remove the dust with a dry and clean cloth. Afterwards, we recommend using the product FILABRIO. We suggest using the doses recommended by the manufacturer and a microfiber cloth.

In any case, to avoid extraordinary cleaning, it is advisable to immediately remove any stain before it dries.

Extraordinary cleaning

In the case of dirt that is resistant to ordinary cleaning, it is recommended to use a detergent specific to the type of dirt.

Prompt action remains an important factor for the success of the cleaning operation. It is suggested to perform a preliminary test on a small stained portion, verifying the effectiveness of the detergent before using it on the whole surface. Never use concentrated hydrochloric acid and/or caustic soda or detergents that contain hydrofluoric acid and/or its derivatives.

In cases such as this where you still want customisation doing, please attach notes to your order using the box provided during checkout.

Cutting offcuts to size:  We offer custom-fabrication in-house so if you need your Calacatta Extra Porcelain (2798) item(s) cutting to a certain size or shape, with any tap or sink holes cutting out or edges polishing, please choose from the drop-downs above (applicable products only) or let us know via message and we'll arrange to get it done. Additional fees will apply and specification of measurements is required prior to commencing work.

Offcut edges and polishing: Our offcuts are rough-sawn by default so have rough edges and sharp corners. We strongly advise you to choose our edge polishing service to make the Calacatta Extra Porcelain (2798) room-facing edges and corners smooth (only applicable to offcuts) if you're planning to install them in a room-facing environment such as with a worktop, table top or shelving project.

Sink cutouts and tap holes: We offer a service as part of our "Additional Options" section on our available offcuts pages to have tap holes and/or sink cutouts put in to your offcut. There are certain variations you can choose including "polished sink cutout", "single tap hole" etc. that you can decide to add to your order as part of this process when purchasing an offcut from us. In order to carry out this work successfully we will require positioning information from you, this is most easily achieved by supplying a drawing.

Uploading drawings for us to work to: If you have a drawing or diagram that shows exact measurements, placement of cuts and polishing guides, or even just a basic drawing showing how you want your stone cut, you can upload it from the "Additional Options" section of any offcut product page and this will attach to your order when you pass through the checkout.

Additional Charges: If you decide after purchasing that you would like additional customisation done to your Calacatta Extra Porcelain (2798) product where you either didn't choose customisation or it wasn't listed as an option, we need to point out that any additional works carried out beyond your initial purchase cost will be charged for.
